I am just loving toile de jouy prints at the moment, super girlie and classic, although there has been a little problem most of the company's iv been looking at have been making terrible toile prints, with gargoyles faces on, me personally, i wouldn't want one of them looking down on me when i'm trying to sleep!
i have fallen in luck, Clarke & Clarke have provided me a beautiful Toile de jouy called Helena, she is quite fabulous and just what i'm looking for!
i will be making some Roman blind with the helena print anc covering the walls in her wallpaper, for a bed throw i am going use Clarisse in the duckegg
the color ways go perfectly with the Helena, and the duckegg and green will bring a little splash extra color for this girls room made in heaven. the cushion will be a plain pink, i will most probably use Romo's Lanara fabric which are also washable.
here's some more example's you could use for the left over fabric. putting the fabric or wallpaper into framers to go in other room's in the house/flat is a great way to make the room connect and flow.
