Toiles right now

I am just loving toile de jouy prints at the moment, super girlie and classic, although there has been a little problem most of the company's iv been looking at have been making terrible toile prints, with gargoyles faces on, me personally, i wouldn't want one of them looking down on me when i'm trying to sleep! 

i have fallen in luck, Clarke & Clarke have provided me a beautiful Toile de jouy called Helena, she is quite fabulous and just what i'm looking for! 

i will be making some Roman blind with the helena print anc covering the walls in her wallpaper, for a bed throw i am going use Clarisse in the duckegg 

the color ways go perfectly with the Helena, and the duckegg and green will bring a little splash extra color for this girls room made in heaven. the cushion will be a plain pink, i will most probably use Romo's Lanara fabric which are also washable.

 

here's some more example's you could use for the left over fabric. putting the fabric or wallpaper into framers to go in other room's in the house/flat is a great way to make the room connect and flow. 

Little tricks for the big move

 While Patsy is organizing her self to find the perfect chair & curtains for the big move to her new flat in Fulham, I'm trying to organize a night out to celebrate and help her with her move, i.e which materials to pick and little things like, which wine is better to drink when were eating our macaroons on her lovely new balcony. 

With the Materials Clarke & Clarke have to be up there with the best for a first time buyer, incredible quality and a very nice price, a lot off Clarke & Clarke material's are machine washable which is perfect if your getting cushion covers and throws made up, if you have left over fabric u can always get that sawing machine out to make a draft exclude, little lavender hearts to hang on your hangers to keep your wardrobe smelling fresh, table runner, gosh the world is your oyster, u could make what ever u want!!!

These may not be the most beautiful looking images, but with your own material and a sawing machine, u could easily make the loveliest table wear in town.

 It was my birthday the other day and I'm getting pretty freaked out - must stop smoking, must buy as much YSL lipstick as possible,must cut down on wine, must stay young - must must must must.

 This baby hasn't come of my finger since the 2 5, if any one trys to take it off they're going to get one hell of a middle finger!
